Oh yes! And i watched Disney's Princess and the frog! i'm feeling damn high now 'cause it was just so wonderful. The aligator was frigging cute and the frogs could dance. i was like going (#-#)! They even had georgeous music. An end credit song called "Never Knew I Needed" written and performed by Ne-Yo! Gawd. Yup, i was gawking at the cinema screen.

Maybe you think i'm a little too old for such movies that shout 'kindergarten', you're wrong. It's not childish, and puh-leaseeee, you naysayers, just shut up.

imma be abit of a spoiler here. It WAS, like everytime, a happy ending. *bigsmile*

Although set in 1920s New Orleans it is an adaptation of the classic tale The Frog Prince.

In the Disney version, Prince Naveen is turned into a frog by a voodoo magician and asks Princess Tiana to kiss him to break the spell.

But she turns into a frog and the pair must reverse the spell, while in true fairy tale tradition, they fall in love.

i thought the storyline was basically simple and not as original, but i would definitely give the art 100/10. The ending was seriously anti-climax, and minutes later, up it went again. The highlight of the day? Tiana and Naveen being new-weds and the finishing touch was how they ended up opening 'Tiana's place'. I was like going 'eh? and then ahhhhhh.' Seeing how Disney created their first african-black princess, i thought they did a really good job with the New Orleans setting along with the jazz age. Definitely transported me to that era, though the voodoo part clearly reminded me of Aladdin's Genie and that evil Jafar.

This is Mama Odie, the 'good' voudou priestess. She's blind but she's wearing shades. LOL. i thought she, using her pet snake as a walking stick, was seriously absurd and amusing, but then again, its Disney's witty style of doing animation.

Prince Naveen was much better looking in the movie, trust me.
